GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Auditor of Trusts, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall furnish Form F to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form F to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of a religious fair is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
