GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a waqf by mutawallis under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Survey Commissioner, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall furnish Form B to the Registrar of Societies within three hundred and sixty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar of Societies within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a waqf is undertaken, and the Registrar of Societies shall dispose of it within three hundred and sixty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
