GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The transport of hazardous substances by operators of a vehicle carrying hazardous substances under the Karnataka Forest Act, 1964, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Forest Guard, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a vehicle carrying hazardous substances carrying on the transport of hazardous substances shall furnish Form VIII to the Chief Wild Life Warden within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vehicle carrying hazardous substances carrying on the transport of hazardous substances shall make an application in Form VIII to the Chief Wild Life Warden within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of hazardous substances is undertaken, and the Chief Wild Life Warden shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Karnataka.
