GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall furnish Form 3 to the Land Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 3 to the Land Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the possession of land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Puducherry.
