GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The business of a common carrier by road by common carriers under the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Highway Administration Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every common carrier carrying on the business of a common carrier by road shall furnish Form 29 to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every common carrier carrying on the business of a common carrier by road shall make an application in Form 29 to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a common carrier by road is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Kerala.
