GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a society by societies under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Survey Commissioner, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every society carrying on the running of a society shall furnish Form A to the Endowments Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every society carrying on the running of a society shall make an application in Form A to the Endowments Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a society is undertaken, and the Endowments Tribunal shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
