GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a rural water supply scheme by operators of a rural water supply scheme under the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Gram Sevak, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a rural water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a rural water supply scheme shall furnish Form 4 to the Zila Parishad within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rural water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a rural water supply scheme shall make an application in Form 4 to the Zila Parishad within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a rural water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Zila Parishad shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of West Bengal.
