GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The keeping of milch cattle by dairy farmers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Plant Protection Officer, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dairy farmer carrying on the keeping of milch cattle shall furnish Form D to the Market Committee within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dairy farmer carrying on the keeping of milch cattle shall make an application in Form D to the Market Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of milch cattle is undertaken, and the Market Committee shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Punjab.
