GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The sponsoring of contract farming by contract farming sponsors under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall furnish Form F to the Market Committee within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall make an application in Form F to the Market Committee within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sponsoring of contract farming is undertaken, and the Market Committee shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Punjab.
