GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a distillery by distillers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Inspector of Excise, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every distiller carrying on the working of a distillery shall furnish Form E to the Excise Appellate Authority within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every distiller carrying on the working of a distillery shall make an application in Form E to the Excise Appellate Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a distillery is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
