GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Tamil Nadu Cultivating Tenants Protection Act, 1955, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall furnish Form 3 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 3 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
