GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling under the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall furnish Form 12 to the Collector within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application in Form 12 to the Collector within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Goa.
