GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall furnish Form 12 to the Collector within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall make an application in Form 12 to the Collector within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Bihar.
