GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a math by managers of a math under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Waqf Officer, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manager of a math carrying on the management of a math shall furnish Form C to the Charity Commissioner within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manager of a math carrying on the management of a math shall make an application in Form C to the Charity Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a math is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Odisha.
