GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of a motor vehicle by owners of a motor vehicle under the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1974, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Motor Vehicles, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a motor vehicle carrying on the use of a motor vehicle shall furnish Form 30 to the Highway Administration within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a motor vehicle carrying on the use of a motor vehicle shall make an application in Form 30 to the Highway Administration within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of a motor vehicle is undertaken, and the Highway Administration shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
