GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The carrying on of a trade within a cantonment by traders within a cantonment under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Garrison Engineer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trader within a cantonment carrying on the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment shall furnish Form B to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trader within a cantonment carrying on the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment shall make an application in Form B to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment is undertaken, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
