GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village under the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall furnish Form 5 to the Director of Panchayats within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall make an application in Form 5 to the Director of Panchayats within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brick kiln in a village is undertaken, and the Director of Panchayats shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of West Bengal.
