GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The printing of a periodical by printers under the Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Regional Officer of the Board, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every printer carrying on the printing of a periodical shall furnish Form VII to the Press Council within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every printer carrying on the printing of a periodical shall make an application in Form VII to the Press Council within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the printing of a periodical is undertaken, and the Press Council shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Karnataka.
