GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres under the Karnataka Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the District Child Protection Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall furnish Form IV to the Child Welfare Committee within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall make an application in Form IV to the Child Welfare Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an anganwadi centre is undertaken, and the Child Welfare Committee shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Karnataka.
