GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall furnish Form 1 to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a well on Government land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Odisha.
