GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of goods by auction by auctioneers under the Bombay Money-Lenders Act, 1946, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every auctioneer carrying on the sale of goods by auction shall furnish Form F to the Registrar of Firms within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every auctioneer carrying on the sale of goods by auction shall make an application in Form F to the Registrar of Firms within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of goods by auction is undertaken, and the Registrar of Firms shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
