GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The submission of accounts for audit by auditees under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Internal Auditor, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every auditee carrying on the submission of accounts for audit shall furnish Form GFR 12-A to the Accountant General within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every auditee carrying on the submission of accounts for audit shall make an application in Form GFR 12-A to the Accountant General within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the submission of accounts for audit is undertaken, and the Accountant General shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
