GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Surveyor, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall furnish Form 8 to the State Government within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 8 to the State Government within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of allotted surplus land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Odisha.
