GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The carrying on of a trade within a cantonment by traders within a cantonment under the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Adjutant, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trader within a cantonment carrying on the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment shall furnish Form F to the Cantonment Board within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every trader within a cantonment carrying on the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment shall make an application in Form F to the Cantonment Board within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment is undertaken, and the Cantonment Board shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
