GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of joint family property by managers of a joint family property under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Child Welfare Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manager of a joint family property carrying on the management of joint family property shall furnish Form IV to the Family Court within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manager of a joint family property carrying on the management of joint family property shall make an application in Form IV to the Family Court within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of joint family property is undertaken, and the Family Court shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
