GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The letting of premises for marriages by licensed marriage halls under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Maintenance Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall furnish Form VI to the Government of Uttarakhand within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall make an application in Form VI to the Government of Uttarakhand within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the letting of premises for marriages is undertaken, and the Government of Uttarakhand shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
