GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall furnish Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Punjab.
