GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The management of a waqf by mutawallis under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall furnish Form IV to the Family Court within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall make an application in Form IV to the Family Court within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a waqf is undertaken, and the Family Court shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
