GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The registration of births and deaths by registrars of births and deaths under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Registrar, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registrar of births and deaths carrying on the registration of births and deaths shall furnish Form III to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registrar of births and deaths carrying on the registration of births and deaths shall make an application in Form III to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the registration of births and deaths is undertaken, and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
