GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 14 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
