GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The distribution of liquefied petroleum gas by liquefied petroleum gas distributors under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Energy Auditor, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every liquefied petroleum gas distributor carrying on the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas shall furnish Form VI to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every liquefied petroleum gas distributor carrying on the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas shall make an application in Form VI to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas is undertaken, and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat.
