GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of an old age home by keepers of an old age home under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Marriages, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of an old age home carrying on the running of an old age home shall furnish Form I to the Registrar of Marriages within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of an old age home carrying on the running of an old age home shall make an application in Form I to the Registrar of Marriages within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an old age home is undertaken, and the Registrar of Marriages shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
