GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The solemnisation of marriages by Marriage Officers under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Child Welfare Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every Marriage Officer carrying on the solemnisation of marriages shall furnish Form IV to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every Marriage Officer carrying on the solemnisation of marriages shall make an application in Form IV to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the solemnisation of marriages is undertaken, and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
