GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 2 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Odisha.
