GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The service of process by process servers under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Nazir, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every process server carrying on the service of process shall furnish Form E to the Taxing Officer within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every process server carrying on the service of process shall make an application in Form E to the Taxing Officer within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the service of process is undertaken, and the Taxing Officer shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
