GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The purchase of an apartment by allottees under the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Rent Controller, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every allottee carrying on the purchase of an apartment shall furnish Form H to the Rent Authority within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee carrying on the purchase of an apartment shall make an application in Form H to the Rent Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the purchase of an apartment is undertaken, and the Rent Authority shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
