GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of the estate of a deceased person by executors of a will under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every executor of a will carrying on the administration of the estate of a deceased person shall furnish Form I to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executor of a will carrying on the administration of the estate of a deceased person shall make an application in Form I to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of the estate of a deceased person is undertaken, and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
