GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in motor vehicles by dealers under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Transport Commissioner, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in motor vehicles shall furnish Form 29 to the Regional Transport Authority within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in motor vehicles shall make an application in Form 29 to the Regional Transport Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in motor vehicles is undertaken, and the Regional Transport Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
