GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of the estate of a deceased person by executors of a will under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every executor of a will carrying on the administration of the estate of a deceased person shall furnish Form VII to the District Court within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executor of a will carrying on the administration of the estate of a deceased person shall make an application in Form VII to the District Court within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of the estate of a deceased person is undertaken, and the District Court shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
