GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The foster care of a child by foster parents under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Marriage Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every foster parent carrying on the foster care of a child shall furnish Form VII to the Registrar General within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every foster parent carrying on the foster care of a child shall make an application in Form VII to the Registrar General within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the foster care of a child is undertaken, and the Registrar General shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
