GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The administration of a family settlement by trustees of a family settlement under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall furnish Form IV to the District Court within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall make an application in Form IV to the District Court within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a family settlement is undertaken, and the District Court shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
