GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2013, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Endowments, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall furnish Form A to the Registrar of Societies within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Societies within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a temple is undertaken, and the Registrar of Societies shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
