GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of a private service vehicle by owners of a private service vehicle under the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Transport Commissioner, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a private service vehicle carrying on the use of a private service vehicle shall furnish Form 1 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a private service vehicle carrying on the use of a private service vehicle shall make an application in Form 1 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of a private service vehicle is undertaken, and the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Kerala.
