GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The employment of women by employers of women under the Karnataka Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1982, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Protection Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer of women carrying on the employment of women shall furnish Form VIII to the Commission within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of women carrying on the employment of women shall make an application in Form VIII to the Commission within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of women is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Karnataka.
