GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The irrigation of land from a canal by cultivators of irrigated land under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Junior Engineer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every cultivator of irrigated land carrying on the irrigation of land from a canal shall furnish Form B to the Ground Water Authority within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every cultivator of irrigated land carrying on the irrigation of land from a canal shall make an application in Form B to the Ground Water Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the irrigation of land from a canal is undertaken, and the Ground Water Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Rajasthan.
