GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of a hostel by hostels for students of Scheduled Castes under the Karnataka Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions and of Appointments or Posts) Act, 2018, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Commissioner, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hostel for students of Scheduled Castes carrying on the running of a hostel shall furnish Form IV to the Chief Commissioner within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every hostel for students of Scheduled Castes carrying on the running of a hostel shall make an application in Form IV to the Chief Commissioner within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hostel is undertaken, and the Chief Commissioner shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
