GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The issue of bills of exchange and promissory notes by banker issuing instruments under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every banker issuing instruments carrying on the issue of bills of exchange and promissory notes shall furnish Form E to the Superintendent of Stamps within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every banker issuing instruments carrying on the issue of bills of exchange and promissory notes shall make an application in Form E to the Superintendent of Stamps within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the issue of bills of exchange and promissory notes is undertaken, and the Superintendent of Stamps shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Rajasthan.
