GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a fishing vessel by owners of a fishing vessel under the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Port Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a fishing vessel carrying on the operation of a fishing vessel shall furnish Form 4 to the Port Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a fishing vessel carrying on the operation of a fishing vessel shall make an application in Form 4 to the Port Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a fishing vessel is undertaken, and the Port Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Gujarat.
