Chennai, dated the 23rd January, 2024

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a teleport by operators of a teleport under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a teleport carrying on the operation of a teleport shall furnish Form VI to the Government of Tamil Nadu within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a teleport carrying on the operation of a teleport shall make an application in Form VI to the Government of Tamil Nadu within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a teleport is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
