GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The engagement of sanitation workers by sanitation contractors under the Maharashtra State Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2018, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sanitation contractor carrying on the engagement of sanitation workers shall furnish Form VI to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sanitation contractor carrying on the engagement of sanitation workers shall make an application in Form VI to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the engagement of sanitation workers is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Maharashtra.
